  • Most children when they are young want to be a fireman, policeman or doctor. Not me, from the time I was 3 years old I knew what I wanted to do and that was to become a professional footballer. Throughout my many years while in the US, I played again

    Mark Green

    Coach
Most children when they are young want to be a fireman, policeman or doctor. Not Mark, from the time he was 3 years old he knew what he wanted to do and that was to become a professional footballer. Throughout many years while in the US, he played against and with the likes of Tony Meola, Tab Ramos, Micheal Windischmann, all inducted into USA Soccer Hall of Fame. Also, Bouna Coundoul from NY Red Bulls and Birahim Diop of The Kansas City Wizards as a teammates.

His journeys with football (soccer) have taken him to France, Sweden, Spain, Germany and far-flung places such as Nepal. While he did not reach the heights of Messrs., Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, he has gained something more valuable and that is friends and friendships that have lasted the test of time and, infinitely more valuable than professional contract.

After discovering the joys of teaching kids' soccer, it has become a passion. He’ll do anything to pass on his soccer knowledge to them.  His hope is that they can develop into professional players, if that is their wish or play college soccer. Most importantly, he hopes they become strong confident adults that, like Coach Mark, have fostered life-long friendships.
