Future Stars offers a variety of different Academies for the upcoming summer of 2009.
Skills AcademyThe Skills Academy will be held June 17-19 and is a 3-day mini-camp (3 hours a day) designed
to develop technically proficient players and foucs on ball mastery. The game of soccer is fast, physical, and constantly in transition.
The player that is able to control the ball quickly is better positioned to make better decisions on the field than tha player that
needs multiple touches to control the ball. The Skills Academy will focus its training on dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. BE ONE WITH THE BALL!The

Academy is a 5-day camp (5 hours a day except for Friday which is 3 hours). The Academy is geared for players of all ages and ability levels. The week is dedicated
to coaching and teaching the overall game of soccer. Technical development will cover dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, heading, and goalkeeping. Tactical
drills will focus on 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, attacking, defending, counter-attacking, and possession. During the afternoon hours, we will break into bigger games to goal and
incorporate tournament play and competition. As always, Future Stars will track POINTS throuhgout the week and crown its Future Stars Champion at the end of the
week. Friday is OLYMPIC DAY - all players are asked to wear their favorite jersey with pride and represent their country or club. There will be 5 Olympic Events
throughout the morning with a Gold, Silver, and Bronze winner awarded for each age group. Bring your cameras out and stay for the day!The Academy is open for

Elite AcademyThis is the second year we are offering the Elite Academy and we are extremely excited to offer this special event for the highly motivated
soccer player. The Elite Academy will be held July 20-23 and it is a 4-day camp (3 hours a day). The Elite Academy is designed for the SERIOUS soccer player. If you
want to train with some of the top youth players in the area, this is the place to be. Come train with the best as the De La Salle varsity soccer team will be out on
the field as well.

Striker and GK AcademyThe Striker and GK Academy will be our final summer camp for 2009. The Striker and GK Academy is a 4-day camp (3 hours a day) designed
for the specific technical and tactical training of two of the most important positions on the field. The ultimate objective of the game of soccer is to put the ball in
the back of the net. The player that is able to do that on a consistent basis or prevent goals on a consistent basis will have a bright future in soccer. Everyone wants
a goal scorer and a shot blocker on their team. Come out and improve your skils around the goal!
